You can get two higher educations at once at KBSU
Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov is actively implementing a parallel education program. This format allows students to get two higher educations at once.
Albina Vindizheva, Head of the Department for Work with Applicants at KBSU, spoke about the benefits and conditions of participation in the program:
“Parallel education expands practical skills, saves time and money, and, thanks to having two diplomas, increases competitiveness in the labor market. When entering full-time education on a budget and full-time and part-time or correspondence basis, students can count on a discount of up to 50% on the second direction. This benefit also applies to those who are already studying full-time and decide to enroll in a second specialty. The discount is valid only for the period of parallel education. The decision to reduce the cost is made by the Academic Council of KBSU.
To enroll in parallel bachelor’s and specialist’s degree programs, an applicant must score at least 180 points on the Unified State Exam and/or entrance examinations. Individual achievements are not taken into account. Parallel master’s degree studies are available in correspondence form. For full-time employees of KBSU, the cost of tuition for a master’s or postgraduate program in correspondence form is reduced to 25%.
Those wishing to simultaneously obtain two higher educations at KBSU can contact the Office for Work with Applicants (office 253, main building).
