Wuth Good Deeds In New Year
Everything your heart desires, for every taste and very cheaply could be purchased on December 25 at the New Year’s charity fair in the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov.
By taking part in the auction, the Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs of the KBR, Awes Kumykov, a representative of the Ministry, Ahmed Autlov, a deputy of the local government council, made a significant contribution to the good work. Nalchik Azamat Lyuev, vice-rectors of KBSU Arthur Kazharov and Sultan Gekkiev, chairman of the trade union committee of KBSU Igor Kobozev, directors of institutes, activists of the university.
Under the merry music and shouts of the touts, there was a brisk trade in all sorts of trifles, from stickers, postcards, toys, the most diverse costume jewelery, to author’s products made of beads, felt, paintings and books. Surprisingly, in the book zone, the apple had nowhere to fall, in a matter of minutes the shelves were literally empty.
At the fair there were several entertainment venues. Those who were interested could play a game of chess or another, draw in anti-stress colorings, take pictures in specially equipped photo zones, experience luck in the lottery, try the best New Year’s desserts and even write a letter to “Grandpa Profkom”.
In the art gallery, the young masters presented handicrafts — from children’s handicrafts to jewelry and paintings. And avid gamers found entertainment in the gaming zone.
At the end, the fair participants launched Chinese lanterns into the sky.
The charity event, the proceeds from which will go to the benefit of low-income students with rare diseases, was organized by more than 100 members of the student trade union committee of the KBSU, and they were assisted in this by 80 partner organizations.
