Release date: 28.08.2021

In connection with the numerous requests from students and applicants of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, we explain: check-in at the KBSU dormitories takes place in accordance with Federal Law 273 «On Education in the Russian Federation», the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and «Regulations on the KBSU campus».
According to these documents, the university is obliged to provide a hostel for preferential categories of students, namely, students who are orphans and children left without parental care; persons from among orphans and children left without parental care; persons who lost both parents or a single parent during the period of education; disabled children, disabled people of groups 1 and 2, disabled from childhood; students exposed to radiation as a result of the Chernobyl disaster and other radiation disasters; war veterans; students with children.
The second stage is the resettlement of full-time students studying on a budgetary basis.
And only then, if there are vacancies, the university administration considers the possibility of settling contract students. This is not the responsibility of the university, but the administration of KBSU has always met the contract students who are most in need of housing, and found opportunities to settle them in dormitories.
According to the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, No. MN-7/5979 dated 29.07. 2021 Preventive vaccination against the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is desirable.
