Over 50% of students and more than 80% of employees of Russian universities have been vaccinated against coronavirus, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education told Interfax. “As of January 24, 82.49% of university staff and 51.87% of full-time students have been vaccinated,” the ministry said on Wednesday. Representatives of universities interviewed by the agency said that almost everywhere more than 50% of students were vaccinated against COVID-19. The Ministry of Education and Science also stated that at present, almost 90% of universities use distance or blended learning formats, only 10.6% of educational institutions use exclusively distance learning technologies.
