Trip from Nalchik to Kazan
From August 20 to August 24, a delegation from among the most active and responsive students of the Kabardino-Balkar State University named after H. M. Berbekov visited one of the most beautiful cities of our country — Kazan.
For four days, thanks to experienced guides, the children could get acquainted with the main sights of the capital of Tatarstan, enjoy its unique beauty, see with their own eyes the bright colors of its streets and squares.
In the memory of KBSU students will always stay an excursion to the Kazan Kremlin, the heart of an ancient city, embodying the culture of the West and the East. Here the minarets of the main mosque of the city of Kul Sharif have shot up and the dome of the oldest Orthodox Annunciation Cathedral glitter with gold. In the Kazan Kremlin is the residence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
KBSU activists visited the main cathedral of Kazan — Peter and Paul Cathedral, walked along the Old-Tatar Sloboda, where the features of the old city of the late XIX — early XX century were most preserved, they also plunged into the atmosphere of the hospitable Tatar house, having drunk fragrant tea and tasting traditional national sweets.
The children inspected the exposition of the Konstantin Vasilyev’s art gallery, a Russian artist whose heritage numbered more than 400 paintings, were also in the museum of ethnographer, linguist, writer and educator of the 19th century Kayum Nasyri.
And also the students visited the island of Grad Sviyazhsk, where unique historical monuments of architecture are concentrated.
On the last day of his stay in the «Kazan kingdom» guests from Kabardino-Balkaria visited the Temple of all religions on the old Moscow tract — a symbiotic symbiosis of religions, civilizations and cultures, the Raifa Bogoroditsky Monastery of the XVII century on the shores of the wondrous beauty of the lake, and also visited bus excursion to Zarechny part of Kazan. We saw the sports facilities of the Universiade, the new palace of the wedding «Kazan», from the viewing platform of the hotel «Riviera» they looked at the impressive views of the Kazan Kremlin, major roads and the water surface. All this left the guys from KBSU good and pleasant impressions.
Travel to one of the largest religious, economic, political, scientific, educational, cultural and sports centers in Russia was made possible by the initiative of the student council of the Kabardino-Balkar State University named after H. M. Berbekov.
