The tourism forum «Caucasus: from an all-Union health resort to a modern hospitality industry» will be held at the KBSU

From August 15 to 18, the tourism forum «Caucasus: from an all-Union health resort to a modern hospitality industry» will be held at the Elbrus Educational and Scientific Complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov. 100 young specialists from different regions of the country will take part.

The main goal is to involve young people in the development of the region through the hospitality industry, to reveal the potential of the North Caucasus Federal District as a Russian health resort, to support aspiring professionals in the field of tourism, health resort business and hotel business.

The forum will be attended by representatives of educational organizations from 18 to 35 years old who have sent the best motivation letters. When considering applications, priority was given to residents of the North Caucasus Federal District, reports Deputy Head of the Department for Youth Policy and Social Issues Elizaveta Khutorskaya:

«The topic of tourism is especially relevant for the republic and the entire district. The selection included young people who are receiving specialized education, young professionals, public figures and heads of club associations. Together with the organizers, they will discuss the prospects for the development of the industry and reveal the potential of the North Caucasus Federal District in tourism.»

The forum program includes lectures, project sessions, master classes and excursions to the picturesque Elbrus region. The speakers will be federal experts, the team of the Association of Student Patriotic Clubs «I am proud» and employees of the Institute of Management and Hospitality Industry of KBSU.

«Forums are, first of all, an exchange of experience,» says Elizaveta Khutorskaya, «We are glad to cooperate with the Association, since the university is interested in working with external departments and organizations, building new connections. We recommend that all participants actively get involved in the process and get positive impressions.»

The organizers are the Association of Student Patriotic Clubs «I am proud», Kabardino-Balkarian State University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
