The State Duma of Russia is waiting for ideas from young scientists of KBSU
February 3, 2023, within the framework of the decade of science and technology in Russia at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov held a meeting of the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Victoria Rodina with young scientists of the university.
Introducing the guest, Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research and Innovation, Doctor of Economics, Professor Andzor Dikinov explained that the meeting was taking place on the eve of the Day of Russian Science, and most of those present (graduate students, residents, undergraduates, members of student scientific associations) would become participants in the XVII Exhibition of Innovative projects of young scientists of the North Caucasus.
“As the head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov noted: “The popularization of science is one of the key tasks for the next decade, identified by Russian President Vladimir Putin.” KBSU is a member of the Priority 2030 program, it occupies good positions in the leading ratings, and is included in the top 100 universities in the country. Today, our university has created all the conditions for young people to express themselves, benefit the country and earn money at the same time. The state is now allocating huge funds for the development of science, announcing various grant competitions that give the guys the opportunity to believe in themselves and develop in general. I hope that the dialogue with the State Duma deputy, our compatriot, will become substantive and mutually beneficial,” — commented Andzor Dikinov.
According to Victoria Rodina, such meetings are a demanded format of events, because young scientists are the future of Russian science, which has very strong basic foundations. The initiatives of those who have decided to dedicate their lives to the development of science set the vector for the development of the industry and give confidence that the transition to a new technological order in Russia is not far off.
“The leadership of our country pays special attention to the training of qualified personnel and the support of progressive initiatives. You are our future. And we want you to develop so that we always have a great country. We expect new breakthrough ideas from each of you and are ready to support you with pleasure,” — the people’s choice emphasized.
She introduced the listeners to some types of state support for talented youth: obtaining a housing certificate, preferential lending and mortgage programs. During the meeting, the audience expressed a lot of interesting ideas and proposals, the development of which, in the opinion of Viktoria Rodina, will give a new impetus to legislative activity.
