The second season of the «Movements of the Pioneers» media school has launched at Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov (KBSU). The project, implemented by the organization’s primary branch at the university, is aimed at developing practical skills in modern media and communications.

The two-day course covers a wide range of competencies. Future journalists and bloggers will master the basics of photography, principles of visual content design and graphic design, learn to work with text, and feel confident in front of the camera.

The educational program is divided into two stages. The theoretical part includes lectures and master classes from invited experts, while during the practical sessions, participants will develop promotional concepts for university communities.

The school’s speakers include popular bloggers in the republic. They will share the secrets of managing social media and discuss working with neural networks and analytics tools.

Elizaveta Khutorskaia, Deputy Head of the Department of Youth Policy and Social Affairs at KBSU, addressed the participants, noting the active development of the «Movement of the First» primary branch at the university and wished the students productive work.

A highlight of the program was a master class by multidisciplinary designer Liana Varkvasova. She revealed the intricacies of creating visual concepts and developing merchandise, and also demonstrated vector illustration techniques. The speaker’s ability to explain complex ideas through visual imagery resonated with the audience.

Loriana Yakhutlova, an expert in social media promotion, will also address the participants. She will present a strategy for achieving millions of subscribers through a systematic approach to content.

Upon completion of the program, the best graduates will receive support from the KBSU Media Center and the opportunity to implement their own projects at the regional and national levels.
