February 5, 2024 at Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov launched a week of science dedicated to the Day of Russian Science, which will be celebrated in our country on February 8.

Students, teachers and representatives of the university management gathered at the cultural center named after Kh.S. Temirkanov for the opening of the psychological and pedagogical society “Atmosphere”, created as part of one of the key points of the plan for the 10th anniversary of science and technology, announced by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, “the opening of centers, laboratories, the launch of research infrastructure, including for young people».

The project is being implemented with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).

Olga Mikhailenko, director of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education at KBSU, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech:

We are very grateful to you for coming to share our joy. The author of the project “Psychological and Pedagogical Society “Atmosphere”” is our graduate student Ruslan Zhidkov, who won a grant from Rosmolodezh for its implementation. The scientific director and curator of the project is Rimma Bagova, Deputy Director of the Institute for Research and Informatization. We have big plans. You all know how in demand the profession of a psychologist is now. We will conduct trainings, speak in psychological and pedagogical classes, and there are already 25 of them in the republic. Our students and staff work with these classes, and this work is very important.

First vice-rector of KBSU Murat Gukepshokov noted that he himself is a graduate of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education, so psychology and pedagogy are very close to him.

Pedagogy and methods of primary education are like pediatrics in medical practice. If you have mastered them, you can be a teacher in any field. You are doing a very important job. Good luck. May all your plans come true.

– Murat Gukepshokov advised the project team.

KBSU vice-rector for Admissions and Pre-University activities Arsen Kharaev wished the new scientific society of KBSU good luck and success in its endeavors.

Lina Mafedzova, head of the department for implementation of priority projects and interaction with educational and youth organizations of the Ministry of Youth of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, addressed wishes of creative success to future participants of grant competitions:

Our ministry is implementing a large program in the field of youth policy, including forum campaigns. When our guys from Kabardino-Balkaria go to various forums, we write them letters of support. And it’s very cool that one such letter addressed to Ruslan Zhidkov grew into such a big and beautiful event, because it was implemented jointly with Rosmolodezh, which cannot but rejoice. The youth of our republic are talented and multifaceted in all aspects. And I would like to say that you can always contact executive authorities, such as the Ministry of Youth Affairs, for support for your innovative ideas.

The head of the department for scientific research and innovative activities of KBSU Natalya Cherkesova, the curator of the student scientific society of KBSU Aneta Kokoeva, the director of the library of KBSU Aimani Gerieva, and the head of the department of inclusive education of KBSU Lyudmila Nastueva also expressed their congratulations to the team of the newly created psychological and pedagogical society.

Members of Ruslan Zhidkov’s project team – Oleg Nemerovets and Anastasia Morozova – spoke about the goals and objectives of “Atmosphere”:

Modern education is the key to a successful future for the younger generation of our city, region and country as a whole. And therefore, today it is especially joyful that one of the modern atmospheric communities is opening within the walls of our university, and with them new opportunities are opening up for our students, teachers and for everyone interested in personal development in general.
The essence of the project is to create a platform for developing the skills of psychological assistance and psychocorrection. In our society, students will be able to develop creatively and intellectually in the field of psychological and pedagogical sciences. Everything necessary for this is installed in the room. The modern software package “Neurosoft Psychotest” (contains over 600 test and visual techniques), lecture material on the basics of the sensory room are already waiting for the children and are ready to open up new modern opportunities for them for learning and research. In turn, students and employees have the opportunity to come after a hard day at work and reduce mental stress in a quiet and calm environment.

800 thousand rubles were allocated for the implementation of this project. More than 500 thousand rubles were spent on equipment and supplies alone. Part of the funds was spent, among other things, on advanced training for our future specialists — 1st and 2nd year students who passed a serious selection: out of 130 people, only 20 were admitted to serious work in the future. Our goal is to represent our institute and university in working with students, including specialized psychological and pedagogical classes.

The author of the project, Chairman of the IPPiFSO KBSU Ruslan Zhidkov, noted:

When we selected the guys, it was important for us to understand that they were ready for personal self-development — they were ready to study, research, and, moreover, pass this knowledge on to another person for a long time and painstakingly.

Then there was a ceremonial cutting of the ribbon as a symbol of the start of the psychological and pedagogical society “Atmosphere”. Olga Mikhailenko, Murat Gukepshokov and Arsen Kharaev took part in the ceremony.

Deputy Rimma Bagova, director of research at IPPiFSO, held an entertaining interactive session with the audience to identify their aptitude for a future profession.

The author of the project, Ruslan Zhidkov, thanked the IPPiFSO team, led by director Olga Mikhailenko, for providing a platform for organizing this society, for methodological support of work with participants in psychological and pedagogical classes.

In general, the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and FSO has become a second home for me. Agree, we want our home to have coziness and comfort. So I hope that this society will create comfort and coziness not only for me, but also for the teaching staff of the institute, and then for students who want to develop both scientifically and socially,

– noted Ruslan Zhidkov.

As part of the celebration, certificates of advanced training for the program “Sensory room in the work of a teacher-psychologist” were awarded to students of the Institute of Industrial and Applied Social Sciences Indira Karamurzova, Islam Shokuev, as well as participant certificates for completing an online course with the issuance of a certificate after receiving a diploma of professional education to Ariana Konikhova, Amira Makhova, Amina Alakadieva, Diana Uzdenova, Darina Mashezova, Elizaveta Mozzhakova.

The decoration of the evening was the creative performances of talented students from the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and the Federal Social Security Service of KBSU.
