The primary branch of the «Movement of the First» will open at KBSU

On September 10, 2024, a meeting of students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov was held with the chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth «Movement of the First» in the KBR Aslan Shipshev.

He spoke about the history of the organization and its tasks and goals. As Aslan Shipshev noted, initially the «Movement of the First» was focused on schoolchildren, but many participants, after finishing school, wanted to continue working in its projects. Taking into account their wishes, the country’s leadership decided to extend the age of the «Movement» participants to 25 years.

Now not only schoolchildren, but also students of colleges and universities can become members of the «Movement of the First». And only those who have reached the age of majority can become mentors. For example, students, volunteers, parents and professional teachers who lead clubs and manage interest clubs,

— explained Aslan Shipshev, noting that the first official mentor of the regional branch of the organization in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic was the head of the republic, Kazbek Kokov.

The students were introduced to the main areas of activity of the Movement of the First at the meeting. These are education and knowledge; science and technology; labor, profession and business; healthy lifestyle; culture and art; volunteering and volunteer work; sports; media and communications; diplomacy and international relations; tourism and travel; ecology and environmental protection; patriotism and historical memory.

They were also shown videos from various events to implement federal and regional projects of the Movement.

As Aslan Shipshev emphasized, the Movement of the First organization plans to open its primary branch at KBSU.
