The path to higher education begins at school: KBSU teachers met with high school students

Employees of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov visited Primalkinskaya Secondary School. Several years ago, specialized psychological and pedagogical classes were opened in this general education institution with the assistance of the university.

The director of the institute, Olga Mikhailenko, together with teachers, held correctional and preventive classes. These are master classes on the formation of a favorable psychological climate among students in grades 9-10.

The students were told about the advantages of studying in the specialties «Clinical Psychology», «Pedagogical Education» and «Physical Education and Sports», as well as about the possibilities of targeted training and budget places.

The meeting also discussed the prospects for further cooperation between the school and the university. Such interaction will be useful for students and will help them navigate their choice of profession.
