The North Caucasus Federal University discussed the training of information security specialists

The director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov Zamir Shomakhov and the Head of the Department Tatyana Khashirova took part in a meeting of the coordination and methodological group for the training of specialists in the field of information security. It was held at the North Caucasus Federal University.

The central topic was the discussion of the growth of cyber threats against the backdrop of the rapid development of digital technologies. Cybercrimes are becoming more complex and widespread. Hackers use malware, phishing sites and spoof numbers in call centers to steal data and create financial pyramids.

Representatives of KBSU spoke about the training of information security specialists in the region.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of government agencies responsible for the protection of information technology facilities in the regions.
