The Knowledge Society celebrated the winners of the theater competition and the KBSU student theater «Curtain» among them

The KBSU student theater «Curtain» was awarded the title of laureate of the All-Russian theater competition of the Russian Society «Knowledge» for the best production of the play «Difficult Exam». The award was presented to the artistic director of the theater Madina Dokshukina by the director of the ROZ branch in the KBR, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Andzor Dikinov.

More than 2,000 applications were received for one of the largest and brightest competitions of the educational project Knowledge.Theater. Of these, only 70 were especially awarded laureate titles by the jury.

With your productions, not only this competitive one, but also all the others, of which there have been a lot throughout the theater’s entire history, you instill in our students high spiritual and moral guidelines, patriotism, humanity, and the desire for kindness. The performance “Difficult Exam” was exactly like that. As a representative of the Knowledge society, I thank you for this!
The expert council of the “Knowledge.Theatre” project includes high-level professionals — honored artists, people’s artists, theater critics, rectors of leading theater universities, and therefore we can confidently say that this diploma is an all-Russian award. Congratulations and wish you to tirelessly move towards even greater theatrical achievements,” — said Andzor Dikinov, presenting a diploma to the artistic director of the student theater “Curtain” Madina Dokshukina.

In turn, the artistic director of the KBSU theater team, Madina Dokshukina, received a Letter of Gratitude from the Russian Society “Knowledge” for her high contribution to education and theatrical art, signed by the head of ROZ projects, Kirill Khvil.

13 young actors took part in the production of Gulnara Iskalieva’s play “Difficult Exam” at the student theater of KBSU “Curtain”, most of whom are students and graduates of various areas of training at KBSU, as well as students of the senior group of the KBSU school-studio-theater “Mockingbird”. In record time — within a month, the guys staged this complex performance, opening the eighth theater season at KBSU with its premiere.

“We were interested in trying our hand at youth student theaters like us. 2000 theater groups staged the same play, many of these groups represent professional theater educational organizations — this was a serious challenge for us, and we gladly accepted it. The difficulty of this performance is that it is edifying, and it was important to teach the audience something through this performance, without switching to the mentoring language of reading morality, otherwise the youth, for whom it was created, simply will not watch it. I think that the guys did an excellent job, and if the Ministry of Education of the Republic is interested in this, we could repeat the performance for schoolchildren,” said Madina Dokshukina, artistic director of the Curtain student theater.
In the center of the storyline of the play “Difficult Exam” is a school graduate, he must make a difficult choice of life path, which is complicated by the boy’s multifaceted interests, his rich imagination, increased emotionality and pressure from his parents. By the way, the main character in “Curtain” is played by a talented actor from the senior group of the KBSU “Mockingbird” school-studio-theater — Damir Borsov, he is just a graduate of graduation age and in reality experiences the same difficulties as the hero of the play. That is why the performance was full of true emotions and realistic dialogues.

By decision of the expert council, only four teams were awarded special prizes. The theater group «STUDIO 17» from the Donetsk People’s Republic received a special prize «For the team that first directed the competition work.» The prize “For showing the play to the maximum number of spectators” went to the People’s Amateur Student Theater “Smile” (Nenets Autonomous Okrug). Their production attracted more than 700 theater lovers. “For the preservation of cultural values and traditions” the expert council of the competition noted the Student Theater of AGIKI “IKIGAI” (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)), the Experimental Theater of Plastic Arts of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “CSU named after I.N. Ulyanov» «Department» (Chuvash Republic) — «For the most expressive solution to a dramatic work.» Well, the winner of the Grand Prix of the competition was the theater group of the Adygea Republican College of Arts. W.H. Tkhabisimova.

“You are all great guys because you are not afraid to try, create and express yourself. It is these qualities that lead any person to success. And never forget that thanks to this competition or any others, you first of all gain invaluable experience and knowledge,” Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Society “Knowledge,” emphasized in his message to the competition laureates,
noting that the best works of the competition laureates will be shown at professional theater venues in their regions.

The competition for the best production of the play “Difficult Exam” is being implemented in partnership with the all-Russian project “School Classics” of the Russian movement of children and youth “Movement of the First”.
