The head of the university had a meeting with the KBSU football team

Yuri Altudov met with the team of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, which entered Group «A» of the top division of the National Student Football League (NSFL).

The head of the university congratulated the guys on their promotion, admitting that he is not a big fan of football, but tries to follow the progress of our matches, although this rarely happens, and keeps in touch with the president of the NSFL Andrey Stukalov. He worries when the team fails, and rejoices in its victories.

Yuri Altudov emphasized that our football players should inspire others with their successes and climb the tournament ladder, then there will be more fans, and financial support will increase.

Now the team is well equipped, all the conditions have been created for it, the guys just have to win. The acting rector promised that in the new season they will be given all kinds of support.

Yuri Kambulatovich was enthusiastic about the proposal of the vice-rector for Youth Policy, Educational Work and Social Issues Beslan Nazranov to purchase tracksuits with the KBSU logo for the players.

The boys’ uniform will indicate that they represent Kabardino-Balkarian State University, which will help raise the university’s image. The team will be recognizable, as will the university itself, whose honor they defend. Of course, I am for it,

Yuri Kambulatovich was promised a copy of the uniform. He chose number 4, joking that in his youth he was always put in defense.

Altudov inquired about the family life of the team players. It turned out that only two people had started a family. The rector, in a fatherly way, urged the boys to think about their personal lives, adding that their passion for football should not interfere with their studies.

The football players shared their problems with Yuri Kambulatovich. The most important thing is the impossibility of holding home games at our home stadium.

The head of the university noted that he would try to make every effort to find funds for its reconstruction.

In the current conditions, when the SVO is taking place, it will be very difficult to do this, I think we will not be able to cope on our own, but we will try to get into the federal program through the Ministry of Education and Science and put the KBSU stadium in full order. We will try to carry out its reconstruction in about a year, — emphasized Yuri Altudov.

The head coach of the KBSU team Aslanbek Khantsev thanked the university management for their great support. According to him, now the task is to firmly establish ourselves in Group «A», although the opponents are of a higher class than the previous ones. Now the guys will rest and gain strength. As he noted, the core of the team will be preserved. One of the best goalscorers of the NSFL Kazbek Shadzov and the best passer Alikhan Kambachokov remain in it.

Moreover, new football players were invited. From the new season, Bagrat Seinyan, who played in the youth team of Lokomotiv, will play for KBSU.

At the end of the meeting, the team was presented with new footballs.
