The Future of Public Administration Using Big Data Discussed at KBSU
A lecture by Vyacheslav Goiko, director of the Center for Applied Data Analysis at Tomsk State University and General Director of the University Consortium of Big Data Researchers, was held at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov. KBSU teachers and students learned how artificial intelligence and big data are used to solve strategic state problems.
The speaker explained that big data is an array of information of various types that is processed by automated tools for analysis and decision-making. As examples, he cited data on users in social networks and search engine analytics.

Vyacheslav Goiko discussed the impact of artificial intelligence and big data on the future of public administration, emphasizing that many Russian departments already have significant amounts of data and can use them to improve the quality of decisions.
The expert believes that the use of big data in public administration will be able to improve the lives of citizens. This will happen thanks to the creation of digital services that will make receiving government services more convenient.
