The First University Championship «Young Professionals» is being held at KBSU (WorldSkills Russia)

May 17 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov started the I university championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia).

The Championship «Young Professionals» (WorldSkills Russia) will be held from 17 to 20 May in four competencies: teaching in elementary grades, preschool education, web design and development, and fashion technology. It will be attended by 22 KBSU students — winners in these competencies from different educational departments: the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education, the Institute of Architecture, Construction and Design, the Institute of Informatics, Electronics and Robotics.

Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Vadim Lesev addressed the participants and experts with a greeting. He noted that this event is intended to contribute to the development of professional competencies in the higher education system that meet the requirements of the labor market as much as possible.

«I wish all participants to fully reveal their potential, to show themselves from the best side. I am sure that the skills that you get at this championship will be useful to you in your future activities,» — commented the vice-rector.

The competition was attended by Ekaterina Misostova, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

«WorldSkills Russia is an opportunity to improve your competence, your professionalism, and gain a high level from experts, your colleagues and other participants. I want you to have a lot of fun. I wish you good luck and success,» — summed up the Deputy Minister.

The dance theater of the KBSU «Kalisto» and the folk dance ensemble of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic «Naltsuk» took part in the concert program.
