The first enrollment of freshmen of the 2022/2023 academic year took place at KBSU

August 9, 2022 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov issued an order on admission to higher education programs (bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s) at the expense of budget allocations at the main stage of enrollment. The names of applicants can be found on the KBSU website in the «Applicants» section. Timur Tabishev, head of the admissions department, said that in 2022, KBSU received from the founder — the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation — 2,525 budget places, of which 870 for the level of secondary vocational education, 991 for the bachelor’s and specialist’s levels, 473 for the master’s degree , 158 residencies, 33 postgraduate students. There are 10 hundred-pointers and 39 high-pointers (270 points and above) among those enrolled.

The most popular areas in 2022 were General Medicine, Pediatrics, Jurisprudence, as well as Architecture (the first budget enrollment of 20 places), Linguistics, and Information Security. The highest competition was for «General Medicine» — 15 people for one place. The admission quota for targeted training was 205 people, more than half of the places were filled. “The recruitment campaign is going very well. As of 08/09/2022, 7,312 people were registered in the reception information system against 6,036 people on the same date in 2021,” — Timur Tabishev noted.

Applicants who could not enter the first time (did not pass the competition) can take part in additional enrollment and additional admission to budget vacancies. The Ministry of Education and Science recommended that universities conduct an additional admission before September 16 Deadlines for additional admission to KBSU:

08/09/22 — the deadline for accepting applications for training and documents required for admission;
08/16/22 — the deadline for accepting documents from persons entering under various quotas (special quota, special quota, target quota), the deadline for accepting documents from persons entering training based on the results of VI conducted by KBSU independently;
08/26/22 — the deadline for accepting documents from persons entering the study based on the results of the Unified State Examination, the deadline for completing the VI conducted by KBSU independently;
08/28/22 — the deadline for accepting applications for consent to enrollment;
08/31/22 — publication of the order on enrollment.
