The best camp for the best: «August-2022» was held at KBSU
Mountains, fresh air, beautiful views and an incredible student atmosphere of relaxation and study that bring joy … Yes, it happens — this is the Interregional Educational Camp «Augustenok-2022», an event that all activists of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov throughout the academic year. This year, the forum was held from August 16 to 20, traditionally in the Elbrus educational and scientific complex of KBSU it is held by the Joint Council of Student Organizations of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov. According to the organizers, the relevance of the camp only increases over the years, «Avgustenok» is a harmonious combination of education, upbringing and recreation for students who have proven themselves from the best side during the year, these are optimal conditions for creative recreation, development of student self-government competencies and formation of leadership potential among student youth. “The forum is primarily important in order to set the right guidelines in education, creativity and patriotism. Those emotions and impressions that the activists of the student council, student trade union committee and other associations of the university receive at Augustenka charge them for a whole year. We always say goodbye to the camp with sadness, because there we become a big and close-knit family,” said Zurab Khutov, deputy chairman of the student council.
The camp was attended by 110 KBSU activists, including 15 students from the Luhansk Pedagogical University. “The forum is just wonderful, we didn’t want to leave. I hope that we will come to Kabardino-Balkaria more than once. I will bring home a huge amount of warm and cozy memories and knowledge that our curators, lecturers and organizers shared with us,” — Anastasia Zveryaka, a student of the Leningrad State Pedagogical University, shared her impressions.
From year to year, the EUNC KBSU trains the student asset of the university on the principles of work in student self-government bodies through lectures, discussions, trainings in a playful way, practical classes, workshops, master classes, which allow you to bring the maximum to the attention of students in a short time normative-legal and organizational-practical information. This time, the favorite activities of the students were a night quest, assembly line lectures and, of course, «evenings» — daily tasks to identify creative potentials.
“This is my first time at Avgustenka and in general on the basis of KBSU. This is an incredible atmosphere and cool guys who are united by one common goal, for which we all rallied into one big family. In the future, I really want to try myself as a tutor at my institute, after a lecture by Maryana Varitlova about tutoring,” — shared a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine Inara Gataova. The educational camp «Augustenok» began its work in 2009, and already in 2017 the Russian Youth Union recognized this camp as the best model for organizing a school for student activists.
