The 7th Festival of Radio Electronics is being held at KBSU

On November 14, Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov joined the 7th Festival of Radio Electronics. It has been held since 2021 on the initiative of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (National Research University «MPEI»). And in three years, the forum has reached the all-Russian level. Today, 20 universities of the country are participating in it.

The forum program is designed for two days. On the opening day, a competition was organized for schoolchildren of the republic. Under the guidance of the deputy director for informatization and innovation, senior lecturer of the Department of Electronics and Digital Information Technologies of the IEEiR, Khamidbi Losanov, the children completed several tasks on the computer. And as a result of working with microcircuits, the participants were supposed to get a working traffic light. Those who completed it more accurately and faster than the others were awarded certificates and prizes.

Director of the Institute of Informatics, Electronics and Robotics Beslan Shogenov congratulated the senior students on their victory:

Today is a historic day for KBSU! This festival is being held within its walls for the first time. It provides an opportunity to learn about current trends in the field of radio electronics, discuss the prospects for the development of the industry and make new valuable acquaintances and connections. I congratulate everyone who joined this event today! I congratulate the winners and, of course, their mentors. It is great that such smart and promising young people are interested in engineering specialties. I am sure that if you want to connect your life with this direction, enter our institute, you will definitely succeed!

A lecture by a leading specialist in the field of electronics, director of the scientific and technical center «Microelectronics and Nanotechnology» of KBSU Dakhir Gaev on the topic «Electronics of the Future» is scheduled for the second day of the festival.
