Teacher of KBSU won the All-Russian ICT Olympiad
The results of the All-Russian Online Olympiad “Information and Communication Technologies as a Level of Pedagogical Competence”, which took place from February 10 to February 12, 2022, have been announced. The short list of winners included a senior lecturer at the Institute of Pedagogics and Physical Culture and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov Ruzanna Pshigausheva. In total, 370 young teachers took part in the Olympiad. The result of the teacher of IPP and FSO KBSU was the diploma of the First degree.
“I have always wanted to make training sessions more interesting and memorable. I was always worried about the question: “What needs to be done so that students are happy to come to me as a couple, so that they look forward to a new lesson?” And to this day, these questions remain relevant. The teaching profession does not tolerate stagnation, monotony and inactivity. It is necessary to keep up with the times, meet new requirements and active principles of professional activity. It is for this reason that, under the guidance of the director of our institute, Olga Mikhailenko, I took part in many conferences and competitions of KBSU, in particular, with a technological bias,” — said the winner of the competition.
According to Ruzanna Pshigausheva, Olympiads help to reveal their abilities more fully, to understand their needs and place in this world, without limiting themselves to the walls of their educational institution. The Olympiad is an opportunity to communicate with creative teachers who are passionate about their profession and give their all to it, communication with new students who will become family and loved from the first minute of the lesson. In my opinion, student success depends entirely on the teacher. Commenting on the victory of a KBSU employee, director of the IPP and FSO Olga Mikhailenko noted that the modern world is constantly changing, and our children are changing with it: they live in the world of technological symbols and signs, in the world of electronic culture and grow up with digital technologies.
“This is what modern children differ from their peers of the previous decade. The computer space has significantly expanded the field of students’ activity and is a more intense interlocutor compared to a book. And right now, a modern teacher needs to prepare students for the rapid perception and processing of large amounts of information, their mastery of modern means, methods and technology of work. It is very important to organize the learning process in such a way that the student is actively involved in the lesson with enthusiasm and interest. A combination of traditional teaching methods and modern information technologies, including computer ones, can help a teacher in solving this difficult task,” — shared the director of the institute.
The All-Russian Online Olympiad «ICT — as a level of pedagogical competence» is aimed at identifying and developing modern technological skills, creative abilities, interest in scientific (research) activities among teachers, promoting scientific knowledge and creative achievements. The organizer of the event is the International Information and Educational Development Center «Teacher’s Diploma».
