Svetlana Khashirova is a participant in the Future Technologies Forum
On February 20–21, Vice-Rector for Research at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, Professor Svetlana Khashirova is taking part in the “New Materials and Chemistry” forum, an annual flagship event that presents future technologies.
Leading experts, scientists, representatives of business and government agencies talk about advanced scientific developments and product solutions based on them in order to shed light on the prospects for implementing scientific developments, support the formation of new industries and shape the image of the country’s technological future.
Russian President Vladimir Putin wished the participants fruitful communication and the implementation of their plans designed to strengthen Russia’s scientific and technological sovereignty and its leadership position in the world of breakthrough knowledge.
I am confident that the current forum, dedicated to new materials and chemistry, will demonstrate a high level of interest and cooperation, will allow us to come up with specific initiatives, interregional and interstate projects that will definitely be in demand. It will serve to develop modern, innovative solutions in strategic sectors of the economy, energy, medicine, space programs, and other science-intensive areas,

The forum will include 30 panel discussions divided into thematic technological blocks, scientific conferences, business sessions on the introduction of advanced developments into economic circulation, open and special exhibitions of technological achievements. The key event of the forum is the plenary sessions with the participation of Vladimir Putin and leading Russian scientists, during which the participants share their views on the technological development of Russia.
Svetlana Khashirova spoke as a speaker in the panel discussion with a report entitled «Additive Technologies: New Approaches and Development Prospects.» She spoke about the experience of KBSU scientists developing a unique hybrid method of additive technologies together with specialists from the A. V. Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as about the development of 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D printing.
The forum is operated by the Roscongress Foundation, and the co-organizers are the largest Russian corporations.
