Student of KBSU is the winner of the competition of the Ministry of Education and Science «Student Startup»
4th year student of the Institute of Physics and Mathematics, Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov in the field of «Medical Physics» Alim Nasipov won the competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation «Student Startup», which was held in 2022 as part of the federal project «University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform». Nasipov A. presented the project «Creating an ecological map of the area by analyzing samples using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)» for the competition. The author of the project says: Now the topic of ecology is very popular.
We need to monitor the situation, monitor the environmental situation. It is known that the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy method is more accurate than other existing ones. It allows you to identify the elements that exist inside the material (elemental composition) or covering its surface, as well as their chemical state, the general electronic structure and the density of electronic states in the material. In Russia, the analysis of environmental pollution is carried out by two methods: gas chromographic and photocalometric. The XPS method has its advantages in relation to these methods, but in the KBR the analysis of biosphere samples for the content of contaminants is not carried out by our method. To some extent, our idea is unique.
The startup will help to facilitate some stages of monitoring the state of the environment, to identify the degree of its pollution with harmful compounds. As a result of the project, it is planned to create an interactive ecological map of the city of Nalchik. It can be used on the project website and in the mobile application. The project was developed under the scientific supervision of the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor of the Department of Physics of Nanosystems of the KBSU Zamir Khamidbievich Kalazhokov.
Together with Alim Nasipov, his classmates Akhmed Kokov and Vladimir Misostishkhov, 1st year master’s student Azamat Zhambekov, 3rd year student Amir Pekov and IFIM graduate Murat Dziraev are working on the startup. “We plan to scale and implement our startup not only in the KBR, but also in neighboring regions. Now we are thinking about cooperation with the Ingush State University,” Alim Nasipov shared his plans. According to the results of the competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation «Student Startup 2022″, 1000 most significant student projects were selected, of which 4 were developed by students of KBSU. Among them is the project “Posture analyze concept” by IS&CHF student Dana Shortanova, Demetra.
An intelligent system for diagnosing fetal diseases in the early stages of pregnancy» by IIIIiCT student Dinara Mit and «Marketplace for the sale of clothes of Russian brands» by IIIIiCT student Elnurkhan Geriev. Each of the 1,000 winners will receive 1 million rubles to create their own science-intensive technologies. The implementation of start-ups will contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks of achieving the technological sovereignty of the country.
