Short films were shown at KBSU

As part of the XI International Festival «Days of Short Films» at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, feature, documentary, animated and neural network films by young Russian and foreign authors were shown.

The shortlist includes works by aspiring directors from Russia, Belarus, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Ecuador, Serbia and France.

As noted by the Honored Artist of Russia, Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Basir Shibzukhov, the main goal of the organizers is to identify and encourage creative youth in the field of cinema, attract the attention of a wide audience to short films and develop the film club movement.

The jury, which in different years included such famous filmmakers and experts as Vladimir Khotinenko, Yuri Bykov and Vladimir Kott, will select the best films.

The winners of the International Festival «Days of Short Films» will receive statuettes and cash prizes.
