Who is awarded the RF President’s scholarship?
The scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation is assigned to students and graduate students who study only with excellent marks or excellent and good marks for the entire period of study. An important condition is the timely delivery of all exams, tests and practices.
Applicants must have outstanding success in education and research, confirmed by diplomas of winners of all-Russian and international Olympiads, creative competitions, festivals, or be the authors of discoveries, two or more inventions, scientific articles published in central publications of the Russian Federation and abroad, or have works containing information of restricted access.
The scholarship is awarded on the basis of a competition held by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The procedure for selecting candidates for scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation is also determined by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
What is required for registration?
Fill in the description and appendices to it in accordance with the existing merit in research activities.
Provide scanned copies of documents confirming the student’s achievements in research activities.
Sign the testimonial and appendices to it with the director of the institute where the student is studying.
Sign consent to the processing and transfer of personal data in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science.
Amount of payments
The size of the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation is established by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and is currently:
— for students — 2200 rubles.
— for graduate students — 4500 rubles
How often is it paid?
The scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation is appointed from September 1 for one year for students and for a period of one to three years for graduate students. The payment of the scholarship is terminated in the event of expulsion of the student from the university.
The scholarship is paid once a month by transferring to the student’s card on the days of receiving the scholarship.
