Rustam Kalmykov gained experience and strengthened the partnership between KBSU and HSE

Rustam Kalmykov, associate professor at the Institute of Electronics, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, completed an in-person internship at the Moscow university.

During 10 days spent at the Institute of Electronics and Mathematics named after A.N. Tikhonov of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), Rustam Kalmykov studied the experience of the flagship in the field of artificial intelligence development.

This opportunity was presented as part of the University Partnership program, which is designed to help employees of Russian universities exchange knowledge and develop potential.

As Rustam Kalmykov said, the result of his internship was an agreement on further cooperation between HSE and KBSU.

The plans include developing a network educational program in the field of computer security for the Kabardino-Balkarian State University.

Also, with the management of the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics named after A.N. Tikhonov, an agreement was reached on the joint implementation of various projects, including the creation of «mirror laboratories». Here, with the organizational and financial support of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, joint scientific research of mutual interest will be conducted.
