Asker Shibzukhov shared his impressions of participation in the Kamchatka ecoforum:
We came to the forum “Ecosystem. Reserved Land” with the project “Development of Ecological Media Space”. We got a good experience and feedback from experts who were pleasantly impressed, they said that they are ready to provide even a platform, to help with the resources they have. The forum brought together not just participants, but really experts in various ecospheres, very interesting people who shared their experience with pleasure.
I remember the closed meeting with the First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko, which was attended by the Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov, the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Ksenia Razuvaeva and other political and public figures. I liked the format of the meeting, namely the fact that government officials did not express something classical, instructive, but wanted to hear our ideas. There were a lot of proposals and ideas from the audience that we would like to implement on the territory of the Russian Federation. I liked that Sergei Kiriyenko wrote them all down and then commented on each of these proposals. This means that our work is very important for the country.
The educational program of the forum was very intense, there were many good quality experts, a lot of alternative sites that could be visited. A varied cultural program allowed the participants to get acquainted with the natural sights of Kamchatka. The week of the forum flew by unnoticed.
In my future work, I am going to use the experience gained at the eco-forum in Petropavlovka, in particular, I may slightly change the concept of holding the All-Russian Ecological Roll Call forum, which will be held in October.
