Programmers’ Open Day

On the eve of the Internet Day, the senior students of the gymnasium № 5 in the city of Informatics, electronics and computer technologies of the KBSU visited the department of computer science and information security Nalchik to get acquainted with the areas of training related to the profession of a programmer.

“We are always glad to see you in our walls, come to us more often”, — head of the department Tatyana Khashirova greeted the students. She spoke about the most popular areas such as «Computer Science», «Computer Engineering» and «Information Security».

Then the guys were invited to participate in the game “Intelligent naval battle” that became popular among KBSU students. Four teams, demonstrating a comprehensive education, showed broad knowledge in many areas. The lucky ones, who did not score on the obstacles, who took the first and second place, received memorable prizes from the university.

Then for the guys was organized a sightseeing tour of the campus. When parting, schoolchildren assured that they would take part in contests and competitions organized by the university.

Open Day at the Institute of Economic and Social Development of the KBSU was initiated by the Youth Center of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Affairs of the KBR.
