Outdoor activity in KBSU’s EESC
170 students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov spent 4 unforgettable days at the Elbrus summer sports and recreation camp on the basis of the Elbrus Educational and Scientific Complex. The Department for Youth Policy and Educational Work of KBSU organized a camp in order to create conditions for creative recreation of student activists, the formation of a corporate spirit and the development of a sports movement among students. The most active students of creative teams, sports clubs, club associations, the student council and the trade union committee annually get into the shift. An integral part of the rest and recreation of students in the camp is a walk to the mineral springs and the picturesque places of the Elbrus region: sand castles, the Shkhelda glacier, the Maiden Spit waterfall. The evening program is no less rich: movie screenings, board and sports games.
“It was one of the most memorable moments of the year. There was a lot of entertainment. I would like to thank the organizers for the opportunity to plunge into another world, escape from everyday life. The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent. I was completely delighted and for many days I still recalled certain moments from the camp, talked about new friends. I hope to go again next year,” — said Tembulat Nakhushev, a 3rd year student in the direction of dentistry.
By tradition, the most sincere, cheerful and unforgettable were the “evenings”, where the camp participants could show their talents, dance jazz dance and sing their favorite songs in karaoke. The participants noted that the camp was dynamic and bright. It allowed university activists to unite even more and get a charge of creative enthusiasm for the next academic year. “All the students were satisfied and are already looking forward to the winter season of the health camp,” — said Milana Tliashinova, director of the Center for Additional General Developmental Programs at KBSU.
