«Organic excursions» have begun to be held for schoolchildren of the country
At one of these excursions, which took place at the Center for Agrobiotechnology of the Stavropol State University, the head of the Center for Decarbonization of the AIC and Regional Economy of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, Amiran Zanilov, told schoolchildren from Stavropol about the benefits of organic fertilizers and shared his experience in farming.
He also presented an interesting study on the effect of biologization on the quality of food. Schoolchildren were also shown how organic fertilizers affect the growth, quality of soil and plants.
«Organic excursions» have recently begun to be held throughout Russia. Classes are held on farms and agricultural enterprises. Students are told and shown, for example, how to get environmentally friendly tomatoes and how cows help in growing potatoes. Not all of these boys and girls have seen cows in real life. For them, such an excursion is like a trip to the zoo.
Schoolchildren were given the opportunity to delve into this topic thanks to the Organica Foundation for Support of Organic Producers.
Such excursions will not only help make organic farming more popular, but will also teach future generations to respect the environment.
