“Mr. KBSU – 2024”

February 16, 2024 on the stage of the cinema and concert hall named after Alexander Sokurov, KBSU hosted an incredible exciting action — seven real supermen competed for the title “Mr. KBSU — 2024”.

The bright, long-awaited show could not take place without the team of organizers from the Department of Youth Policy and Educational Work of KBSU. A huge amount of preparatory work has been done: casting competition participants, filming video cards, attracting sponsors, approving the jury, selecting music, scenery, etc. Behind the scenes there were long rehearsals and classes of the “Misters” with teachers and choreographers, so that in the end the fans would see great performances of their favorites.

Let’s name the names of these charismatic, versatile, with a sense of humor and self-irony, hardworking and responsible participants: Tamerlan Khavpachev (Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies), Astemir Tabishev (Medical Academy), Tamirlan Asanov (Pedagogical College of IPPiFSO), Abdulla Ozdoev (Institute of Informatics , electronics and robotics), Eldar Babugoev (Institute of Informatics, Electronics and Robotics), Muhammad Ibragimov (Pedagogical College of IPPiFSO), Sultan Kishev (Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies).

As always, the most impressive thing was the creative competition. The talented performances of the guys were generously rewarded with incessant applause and chants from the audience.

Tamerlan Khavpachev showed how the mountaineers rested during a military campaign. As expected, in chanting, he, like a “dzheguako,” performed an ancient song-legend, and then a sparkling Circassian dance. Astemir Tabishev played the accordion masterfully. Tamirlan Asanov knows how to deal with a dozen or two hooligans. Of course, for this you need to practice karate. Abdulla Ozdoev set the stage in the literal sense of the word, demonstrating his skillful use of a welding machine. He’s also a great low break dancer. The shadow theater with the participation of Eldar Babugoev told a beautiful instructive legend about the evil king. An excellent stand-up comedian Muhammad Ibragimov dances hip-hop beautifully. And Sultan Kishev is well versed in what a man should be.

The most difficult thing for the participants was the intellectual competition, in which they had to demonstrate ingenuity and sparkling humor while answering the most unexpected questions. The most witty, according to the jury, was Sultan Kishev.

The guys also took part in a sponsored fashion show from the men’s clothing store “Diplomat”, as well as in an evening outing.

The performances of the contestants were evaluated by a competent jury, which included the director of the Center for Cultural Development of the city. Nalchik Saida Zhanimova, winner of the Bodybuilding World Cup in 2023, coach Arthur Vakashev, photographer Jamilya Kuchukova, blogger, presenter and showman Mukhamed Tlizamov, participant in the show competition “Mr. KBSU — 2015” Ilyas Musukov.

And finally, the jury announced the results of the show competition.

The Audience Award went to Tamirlan Asanov (PK IPPiFSO).

The title “Vice-Mister of KBSU” was awarded to Abdulla Ozdoev (IIEiR).

Well, Sultan Kishev (IIIICT) became “Mr. KBSU – 2024”.
