Modern teaching technologies were shown to schoolchildren at the Medical Academy of KBSU
The first days of open doors at the Medical Academy of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov were bright and exciting. As part of the agreement between the Medical Academy and the Children’s Academy of Creativity «Sunny City», the first lesson was held, at which applicants were shown modern educational and medical equipment, introduced to advanced technologies for training doctors and taught how to provide first aid.
Deputy Director for Career Guidance and Educational Work of the Medical Academy of KBSU Zareta Kambachokova greeted the children, told them what the Medical Academy is, about the admission procedure, admission rules, and the opportunities that Kabardino-Balkarian State University provides.
Senior teacher of the Department of General Medical Training and Medical Rehabilitation of the Medical Academy, Irina Semyonova, told the children about the history of the development of the university, the medical academy, its clinical bases, and about the outstanding personalities who headed the medical academy in different years.
The director of the MA of KBSU simulation center, Eldar Soltanov, conducted a training session on first aid using simulators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, and gave the opportunity to practice the skills he had seen.
Madina Tlakadugova, head of the department of normal and pathological anatomy of the MA KBSU, introduced high school students to an innovative anatomical table, which makes it possible to use a detailed study of a large number of anatomical structures in classes not only on normal anatomy, but also on topographic and pathological anatomy, operative surgery and forensic examination.
Associate Professor of the Department of Normal and Pathological Anatomy of the Academy Aslanbek Akhmetov showed the children realistic models of human body organs, surgical instruments and anatomical posters.
The students received a lot of interesting and useful information that will be useful to them in the career guidance process. The guys left the lesson inspired and with the desire to return to the medical academy as students.
