Meeting of the KBSU Coordination Council on the implementation of the “Priority 2030” program
April 1, 2024 at Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov held a meeting of the coordination council of programs and projects implemented by the university as part of the implementation of the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030”.
About 5 issues were considered. Changes have been made to the composition of the coordination council, as well as amendments to the Priority 2030 program itself.
As noted by the head of the Department of Strategic Programs and Projects, Khyzyr Mashukov, 100% co-financing of grants that are allocated to universities from extra-budgetary sources for conducting applied scientific research or experimental development is now necessary. And the volume of extra-budgetary funds raised from organizations in the real sector of the economy for the development, implementation and production of technologies within five years after the provision of a special part of the grant, from now on in total must be at least 50 percent of the subsidy.
Other additional criteria have been added. Starting this year, the indicator “average Unified State Exam score” is added, and the indicator “the number of people who have completed training at the digital department” in additional professional programs, including through online courses, moves from the effective section to the section of indicators for achieving grant results.
Members of the coordination council also approved the passports of strategic projects.
Let us remind you that “Priority 2030” is a unique program to support the Russian higher education sector.
