Welcoming the participants of the scientific forum, Acting Rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov noted:
«In the modern world, integration processes affect various aspects of the activities of not only states, but also regions, as well as enterprises and organizations. However, in the context of the instability of the global economy, regional economic integration, which is one of the processes directly influenced by the events taking place in the world arena, is becoming increasingly important for ensuring the economic security of states.
Regional economic integration makes it possible to establish long-term relations in matters of production of goods and services, development of the infrastructure necessary for high-quality and cost-effective use of available resources.
In the search for answers to the question of the importance of integration processes for the development of regions, the experience of colleagues from other cities and countries is important. I believe that the conference will provide a wide platform for the exchange of views and knowledge on many topical issues and problems of the development of integration processes in the regional economy.»
