The Center for Psychophysics of Management Decisions and Behavioral Economics of Kabardino-Balkarian State University jointly with the Department of Management and Marketing of the Institute of Law, Economics and Finance of Kabardino-Balkarian State University invites to an open lecture on the course «Managerial Solutions» of the Doctor of Economics, Professor, member of the Board of Trustees of KBSU, the scientific leader of the Center for Psychophysics of Management Decisions and Behavioral economy of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University Mukhamed Tsikanov. The lecture will be held on September 11 at 13.00 in the hall of the center of culture named after H. Temirkanov of the KBSU.

He was born on April 6, 1955 in Almaty.
He graduated from the Kirghiz State University and the engineering stream of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Doctor of Economics, Professor.

1978-1980: Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences, trainee researcher;

1980-1983: CEMI AS USSR, graduate student; defended the candidate
1984-1984: High-mountainous geophysical institute, junior researcher;
1984-1988: Kabardino-Balkarian Agrarian Institute, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics;
1988-1992: All-Union Institute of System Studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences, doctoral student; there he defended his doctorate
1992-1993: Kabardino-Balkarian Agrarian Institute, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Management and Law;

Work in government
1993-1997: Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Minister of Economy; developed a program for the development of the KBR. Author of the program of the free economic zone of the KBR.
From 1997-2000 — Deputy Minister of Economy of Russia.
From 2000-2004 — Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Russia.
He developed a program for the rehabilitation of the Balkar people; also one of the authors of Yeltsin’s speech, when apologies were brought to the Balkar people for deportation in 1943.
In 2004 he resigned as Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade.
2004-2005 — Senior Vice President of OOO “YUKOS-MOSCOW”
2005 — General Director of OJSC «Elgaugol»
2007 — Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yakutugol
2008 — Senior Vice-President of one of the largest mining companies in Europe – OAO “Mechel”
