Leading universities of Russia — for engineering specialties’ graduates of KBSU
32 engineering graduates of KBSU completed a professional retraining course for two months at the North Caucasus Institute — a branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (Pyatigorsk). The implementation of the programs «State and municipal management», «Personnel management and office work» was carried out on a part-time basis using e-learning and distance learning technologies.
Professional retraining is carried out for graduates of technical areas of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after. HM. Berbekov with the aim of training engineering personnel under professional retraining programs of leading universities in Russia (at the expense of the university’s funds received from income-generating activities). Head of the Department of Strategic Programs and Projects of the KBSU Ramazan Ligidov commented: Despite the busyness in preparing for the state final certification, the training was comfortable for the students, as it took place in a remote format, the class schedule was developed by the Center for Additional Education of the North Caucasus Institute — a branch of the RANEPA, taking into account the schedule GIA in KBSU. – The course materials contain the most important and up-to-date information necessary for novice engineers, and the programs comply with the requirements of professional standards and the Federal State Educational Standard. The professional retraining program «State and Municipal Management» introduces students to the responsibilities of leadership positions and prepares qualified personnel for public service.
As a result of training under the program «Personnel Management and Office Work», the students learned how to diagnose the value orientations of employees, divide them into personnel groups and select appropriate motivators; determine the psychotype of an employee by the prevailing style of thinking and increase the productivity of critics, idealists, pragmatists, analysts, realists; develop the career of employees, increase their involvement in teamwork and interest in achieving the company’s goals; establish interaction with staff, receive feedback from employees.
As a result of the training, students received a diploma of professional retraining. Great chance to learn a new profession. Lectures are presented in an accessible and understandable form.
