KBSU Volunteers Summed Up The Results Of The Year

Friendly family of volunteers of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov, always ready to help those in need, gathered on January 22 to sum up the results of the year of the Volunteer.

The KBSU Volunteer Center is 6 specialized volunteer areas. Within the framework of the Volunteer Year, a large number of actions, rallies, festivals, competitions, educational forums were held throughout the country, at which representatives of the KBSU Volunteer Center also performed well. Among them are the European Freestyle Wrestling Championship, the International Volunteer Forum, the Caspian International Youth Forum and many others.

Head of the youth policy and educational work of the KBSU Astemir Kiasov, addressing the heroes of the occasion, urged the children not to stop there, to work further, to do good deeds:

«With the end of the year of the Volunteer, your activity does not end. Be the best, let your hearts always be filled with love for people».

Then the best volunteers of the university were honored. About 200 activists received certificates for their great contribution to the development and popularization of the volunteer movement and for their active participation in the life of the KBSU volunteer center.

Within the framework of the celebration, the results of the republican competition “Volunteer of the Year” were announced. The winner in it was won by a student of the Institute of Physics and Power Engineering at the KBSU Diana Shogenova, and the jury received a student of the Institute of Economics and Finance, Dzhambulat Sozaev.

Volunteers are very positive and creative people that they once again proved at the ceremony, demonstrating talents in music, dancing and KVNe.

And the evening ended with a collective performance of the anthem of the KBSU volunteers.
