KBSU: the first startup diploma in the field of tourism

This year for the defense in the new for the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov in the startup format, nine graduation qualification works of students of KBSU were announced.

On June 23, a team of undergraduates of the Social and Humanitarian Institute in the direction of «Tourism» defended their startup as a diploma: Madina Bitokova, Alla Garanina and Zarina Hortieva. Topic — «Development of geo-informational tourist portal NARTIADA-Tour».

Based on the results of defending a start-up project in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the final qualifying work for seeking investments in the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, a limited liability company «NARTIADA-Tour» was created, on the basis of which a specialized electronic information technology platform will operate. «NARTIADA-Tour» is a unified database of tourist facilities and services on the territory of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, aimed at creating accessibility and popularization of cultural, historical and natural heritage, historical and cultural monuments for tourists and local residents. At the moment, the company already employs a director, a marketer and an analyst — participants in the startup. The launch of the startup project is planned for September 2021. In the future — the creation of 10 jobs.
