KBSU team in the top division of the Russian Student Football Championship

From 4 to 6 June 2021 in Rostov-on-Don, on the basis of the Lokomotiv stadium (28 Stachki Avenue), the VIII interregional tournament of the Higher Division of the National Student Football League of the season 2021 will be held. autumn ”from April to June and from September to November 2021.

The tournament will be organized by two Don teams: Southern Federal University (SFedU, Rostov) and Don State Technical University (DSTU, Rostov).

In the tournament, the rivals of the teams will be the student teams of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov (KBSU, Nalchik) and the Russian University of Economics. G.V. Plekhanov (REU, Moscow).

The team from Nalchik, after 3 rounds, has 3 points (1 win, 2 losses), the Muscovites — 1 point (1 draw and 2 losses).

The system of interregional tournaments has remained unchanged — four teams for three days play in the «each with each» format, and the results go to the general standings of one of the groups. Matches will be held every day at the Lokomotiv stadium, spectators are free to enter.

Recall that 39 teams from 27 cities of Russia will take part in the competitions of the Higher Division. In groups «A» and «B» 16 teams will play in one round, and in group «B» — 7 teams in two rounds. The winner of group «A» will be declared the champion of the NSFL and will have the opportunity to represent Russia in European competitions, while the teams of groups «B» and «C» will fight for an upgrade.
