KBSU team became the winner of the XXII Russian National Congress «Human and Medicine»

At the XXII Russian National Congress «Human and Medicine» held in Moscow, students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov demonstrated excellent results and a high level of training.

The «Brave Club» team of the KBSU Medical Academy was awarded the title of laureate of the X International Student Olympiad «Golden Stethoscope» in Internal Medicine. This event was held within the framework of the project «Trajectory from Schoolchild to Academician», initiated by the Russian Society for the Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases. The participants of the Olympiad had to cope with tasks related to the recognition of skin manifestations of internal diseases, as well as the analysis and interpretation of ECG data, X-rays and computed tomography. KBSU students demonstrated professional thinking, high reaction speed and prompt decision-making, which became the key to their success.

The IX Congress of Young Therapists was also held within the framework of the congress, where KBSU student Fatima Kuchmenova was awarded a diploma of the laureate of the competition of young scientists in the nomination «Description of an original clinical case». The laureate diplomas were presented to the KBSU team by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Oksana Drapkina, noting that such achievements strengthen the position of young specialists in the medical community.

The congress, organized with the support of the Ministry of Health of Russia and leading scientific centers, once again confirmed its status as a key platform for the development of talents in medicine, opening up new horizons for future specialists.
