KBSU students visited the world’s first traveling exhibition «Victory Train»

Release date: 03.03.2025

Students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, including foreign students, visited the interactive exhibition «Victory Train».

This unique museum on wheels recreates the events of the Great Patriotic War with historical accuracy.

Ten thematic carriages of the «Victory Train» took guests through the key stages of the war — from the anxious pre-war days of 1941 to the triumph of May 1945. Modern technologies allowed students to literally feel the breath of history.

These are not just exhibits. It seems as if you yourself are standing on the platform in 1941 or in besieged Leningrad,
— KBSU students shared their impressions.

The exhibition was visited by schoolchildren, veterans, government officials, and guests of the city. The opening was accompanied by a patriotic program: honored artists of the KBR performed songs of the war years.

A meeting with participants of the SVO was held on the platform of the Nalchik railway station as part of the project «Your Hero». Veterans and active military personnel told young people about the importance of preserving historical truth and protecting the Motherland.

The program was supplemented by a photo exhibition «Donbass through the eyes of eyewitnesses» by Vladimir Anosov, a military photojournalist for «Rossiyskaya Gazeta».

The «Victory Train» project was implemented by the creative workshop «Nevsky Batalist» together with the media group «Red Square» with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, JSC «Russian Railways» and the All-Russian public movement «Volunteers of Victory».
