KBSU students took part in a research project on interethnic relations in the Caucasus

On September 28, the operator of Russian and international projects in the field of education and culture in Russian, the ANO «Center for Modern Educational Technologies» held at the KBSU within the framework of the project «Strengthening social, interethnic and interfaith harmony in the youth environment», implemented by order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for students of the North Caucasus Federal District.

The purpose of a series of seminars held by the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization «Center for Modern Educational Technologies» is to form the foundations of an all-Russian civic identity and principles of interethnic harmony through the adaptation and socialization of student youth, acquaintance with the historical and cultural traditions of the peoples of Russia, as well as the prevention of extremism through implementation in educational organizations higher education of the North Caucasus Federal District of a socially oriented network educational program.

“This is a project focused on the North Caucasus, but it is certainly worth saying that its relevance is great for all of Russia, especially for mono-ethnic regions. Our goal is to actualize the issues of interethnic, interfaith relations. We live in the era of globalization, without our desire we found ourselves in these realities and must build relationships in a new way between representatives of different peoples of different confessions. The task of the scientist in this case is to record the ongoing changes, the ongoing changes, to assess the vector of movement, to develop recommendations for the development of state policy. I want to note that it should be noted that Olga Mikhailenko, director of the Pedagogical Institute of KBSU, as a coordinator, and the students of the institute helped us a lot, showed a mature, meaningful position, approached the issues discussed very responsibly. According to their statements, we understood that a very tolerant position of citizens towards representatives of other ethnic and confessional groups, towards the culture of other ethnic groups has been formed in the multinational KBR, and this position, undoubtedly, should be broadcast, «said Sergei Bulanov, Director General of the Center for Modern Educational Technologies.
A series of seminars will be held on the basis of educational institutions of higher education of the subjects of the North Caucasian Federal District:

September 28-29, 2020 on the basis of two federal universities:
«Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov» and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education» Kabardino-Balkarian State Agrarian University named after V.M. Kokov».

October 1, 2020 in the Stavropol Territory at the base
Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «North Caucasus Federal University».

October 15, 2020 in the Stavropol Territory at the base
FSBEI HE «Pyatigorsk State University».

October 19, 2020 in the Republic of Dagestan on the basis of
FSBEI HE «Dagestan State University».
