Release date: 01.04.2025

A case game «Cultural code of the highlanders» was held at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov (KBSU), uniting students in the search for solutions to urgent problems of the multinational region. The event was timed to coincide with the Day of the Revival of the Balkar People.

The goal of the game is to introduce young people to the basics of social design, teach children to develop their own projects and work in a team. Participants, divided into 8 groups, solved cases affecting key areas of life in a conditional southern region: demography, healthcare, education, preservation of the language and cultural heritage of the titular peoples.

Our task is not to choose winners, but to show students how project thinking helps solve social problems. We want to inspire them to act, develop teamwork and critical analysis skills, and help them understand that each of them is capable of influencing their environment and making positive changes in society,

— shared the event organizer, director of the Balkar Culture Center named after K.S. Otarov, KBSU Ismail Beituganov.

The game was held as part of the cultural and educational project «Cultural QR Code», implemented with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs «Rosmolodezh.Grants» and the regional branch of the public organization «Russian Union of Youth». The winners and prize-winners received gifts.
