KBSU students made a contribution to the Russian «Architectural heritage»
Students of the Institute of Architecture, Construction and Design of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, the areas of study «Architecture» took part in the open review competition «The Best Student Works», held as part of the VI All-Russian Festival «Architectural Heritage» in Krasnodar city.
The competition was held by the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Krasnodar Territory together with the Southern Territorial Branch of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences, the Krasnodar Regional Branch of the All-Russian Creative Professional Public Organization «Union of Architects of Russia» and consisted of 3 rounds.
The purpose of the competition was to develop architectural creativity, popularize architectural education and the profession of an architect, identify and promote the best architectural works, encourage their authors, and build new vectors for the development of architecture. In total, 456 papers were presented from various regions of the Russian Federation: St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Rostov-on-Don, as well as universities in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Nalchik, etc. The first round was held online from February 3 to 9. To participate in it, KBSU submitted 21 applications in the categories «Term papers of junior courses», «Term papers of senior courses», «Thesis», «Interiors», «Layouts».
The second round was held on February 20-21 at the Kuban State Technological University. The students who passed to the second round were awarded diplomas of the 1st degree — Asker Tanashev, Temirlan Adzhiev, Malika Uyanaeva, Disana Khezheva; diplomas of the II degree — Darina Khezheva, Adel Hussein Bajmuk; III degree diplomas — Asker Tutov, Lalina Tumova.
The final third round was held on March 1-4 at the Expograd-South exhibition and congress complex as part of the International Festival Days of Architecture. The works of students awarded the I degree participated in it.
In the third round, students Temirlan Adzhiev and Malika Uyanaeva took third place in the open review competition of the VI All-Russian Festival «Architectural Heritage». We congratulate our students and wish them further success in architecture!
