KBSU students became winners of the All-Russian competition «My small homeland: I love, I am proud, I look to the future»

Students of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov distinguished themselves at the All-Russian competition of regional branding «My small homeland: I love, I am proud, I look to the future»

Adelina Tlyarugova became the first-degree laureate in the individual competition, ahead of a hundred contestants.

And a group of students from the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education consisting of Albek Bittirov, Alina Zhapueva, Inal Kuashev, Zalina Khutatova and Alina Shabazova took second place in the team competition.

Their initiative was supported by another team of the division. Diana Kumykova, Sofia Kurbanova. Diana Mezhgikhova, Aisha Kaigermazova and Dana Makoeva became laureates of the 3rd degree.

This year, first-year students from universities in Eastern Siberia and the North Caucasus took part in the competition. The topics of the projects were wide and varied, from their small homeland to the scale of the country. The jury was especially pleased with the targeted nature of the projects and the desire of the contestants to make real changes in the life of their locality. This indicates that the goals of the competition — the formation of a spiritual, moral and cultural foundation in students, the development of a sense of patriotism and citizenship, love for the Motherland — have been achieved.

The expert group for assessing student projects included Larisa Egorova, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk Region, and representatives of the regional branch of the «A Just Russia — For Truth» party Alexander Polovinsky and Mikhail Uchitel.

The event organizer, the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Pedagogical Institute of Irkutsk State University, expressed gratitude to the management of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education and Sports Education of KBSU for their active participation in the All-Russian regional branding competition “My Small Homeland: I Love, I’m Proud, I’m Looking to the Future.”
