KBSU students are invited to the International Student Tourism Congress

On October 21, the First International Student Travel Congress «Tourism is the future of tourism» will be held online, aimed at organizing a professional dialogue between students and leading experts in the field of tourism in Russia and the world.

Within the framework of the Congress, the prospects for the development of the tourism industry, recreational trends of the new generation and new forms of student tourism, the prospects for space tourism, the transformation of state policy in the field of tourism will be discussed. The participants will answer some problematic questions: how is the strategy for sustainable development of tourism and hospitality being implemented? What are the opportunities for professional development in tourism? How to involve young people in the profession or how can a student start working and earn money in tourism? What is the digital transformation of the travel industry and how is hospitality management technology evolving?

More than 10,000 students from more than 100 universities and secondary specialized educational institutions of Russia and the CIS are expected to take part in the Congress.

The goal of the global event is to popularize and enhance the prestige of the tourism professions. The congress is timed to coincide with the World Tourism Day and is aimed at educating a new generation of tourists who know the national and world culture and history, take care of the natural heritage and lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

In addition, during the Congress, the winners of the competition for student proposals to the National Project «Tourism and Hospitality Industry» will be awarded, as well as a meeting with the finalists of the All-Russian competition «Masters of Hospitality» and a meeting with members of the expedition of the Russian Geographical Society «Russia 2021».

Anton Shkaplerov is a Russian cosmonaut, colonel of the Russian Air Force, Hero of Russia and other famous people in the country.
