KBSU student received a grant at the forum «Mashuk-2021»

Employee and undergraduate student of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov Ruslan Zhidkov became the winner of the grant competition for youth projects within the framework of the North Caucasus Youth Forum «Mashuk-2021». On October 29, within the framework of the third session of the Forum «Faculty of the Great Future» Ruslan Zhidkov defended the project «Youth Medical and Biological School of Equal Opportunities» Adaptol «and received grant support from the Federal Agency» Rosmolodezh «in the amount of 490,000 rubles for its implementation.

“Tell me — and I will forget, show me — and I will remember, let me act on my own — and I will learn,” is the motto of my project aimed at involving schoolchildren from 8th to 11th grade in research activities by conducting training seminars, master classes and professional tests on special equipment under the guidance of student mentors. This is a type of interaction where a student of a general educational organization receives knowledge from a student of a professional educational organization (in our case, in the direction of «Biology», «General Medicine», «Pediatrics»). As a result, it is planned to form a new group of volunteers and at least develop youth science in our region, — commented the grantee.

He said that the project will be implemented in three stages. Already in December, it is planned to purchase specialized equipment, then train students in specialized areas and directly work with students under a preliminary agreement with schools.
