KBSU staff and students took part in a discussion of current problems of youth in Russian regions

From September 29 to October 5 at the Elbrus educational and scientific complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov hosted the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Youth of Russian Regions: Research Practices and Current Problems of Life Self-realization” and the All-Russian School of Young Sociologists, in which employees and students of KBSU took an active part.

The conference became a convenient platform for studying and discussing current problems of youth and prospects for the regionalization of youth policy in Russia, for systematizing work experience, for exchanging technologies, successfully implementing projects and developing the most effective strategies for implementing youth policy in the regions.

The forum was opened by the scientific director of the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University, the scientific director of the South Russian branch of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, honored scientist of the Russian Federation, doctor of philosophy sciences, professor Yuri Volkov.

The Minister of Youth Affairs of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Professor Azamat Lyuev, announced an official greeting to the conference participants from the Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Kazbek Kokov.

The main goal of state youth policy is to create conditions and opportunities for the development of talents and self-realization of young people. And, of course, sociology is a very important and necessary tool for assessing the situation, for analyzing and understanding social problems and developing the right solutions at various levels. And for those young people who are engaged in this science, this is also an important experience, knowledge necessary for the formation of civic consciousness, active participation in public life and their application in various fields. I am confident that the events being held today will make it possible to take another important step in solving current scientific problems on a given topic, in increasing the level of knowledge and developing the practical skills of participants,

The conference participants were also greeted by the director of the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University Andrey Bedrik and the director of the Research Institute of Complex Problems of the Adyghe State University, Doctor of Sociology. sciences, prof. The plenary part of the forum began with the report “What do we know about the society in which we live” by the scientific director of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, director of the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail Gorshkov.

The Minister of Youth Affairs of the KBR, Professor Azamat Lyuev, spoke about the social portrait of modern youth.

In addition, plenary reports were given by Rashid Khunagov and professor of the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University Maxim Vaskov.

Presentations on current topics were made by the head of the department for pre-university preparation and career guidance work at KBSU, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Theory and Technology Albina Vindizheva and Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Technology Aslan Chechenov.

The conference was held within the framework of the XVII All-Russian School of Young Sociologists: “The Life World of Youth in the Ethnocultural Dimension: Values, Orientations, Social Practices.” The candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor of the department of theory and technology of social work, Murat Shogenov, and the director of the Center for Sustainable Development of KBSU, assistant of the department of theory and technology of social work, Timur Aramisov, took an active part in the work of the school of the young sociologist, together with students of KBSU in the direction of “Sociology”.

As a result, bachelors, masters, graduate students and young and experienced scientists from the Southern Federal University, the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, the Adyghe State University, as well as Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol, and Abkhazia exchanged opinions on the key issues of the conference.
