KBSU Selects «Best Reader of the Year — 2025»
The results of the annual «Reader of the Year» competition were summed up at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, which ended with a ceremonial award ceremony. Throughout the year, library staff carefully monitored reader attendance, studied their forms and requests in order to determine the winners in seven nominations based on this data.
KBSU Library Director Aimani Gerieva emphasized that modern youth do not just consume information, but deeply analyze it, show creativity and understand how important books and reading are for comprehensive development.
«Best Reader of the Year» is not only someone who reads a lot, but also actively uses the library’s electronic resources, participates in its events and is a versatile person,
— noted Aimani Gerieva.
As a result, the most devoted readers were awarded the title of «Best Reader of the Year».
The leader in the nomination «Best Reader of the Year» was Mikhail Ostapenko (Medical College).
«Reader — intellectual» — Elizaveta Shameeva (SHI).
«Reader — researcher» — Raneta Nadzirova, head of the laboratory «Gerbarium» named after L.Kh. Slonov IM and EN, candidate of biological sciences, and Khakim Gegraev, deputy director for research, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of the department of ethnology, history of the peoples of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and journalism of SHI KBSU.
«Advanced library user» — Alan Kochesokov (KITiE).
«The most active reader» — Amina Marzhokhova (IER and II) and Allanur Esenov (SHI).
«Multifaceted reader» — Alima Basheva (IPP and FSO).
“The most creative reader” – Idar Pshibiev (SHI).
