KBSU presented projects at the MITT-2025 tourism and hospitality industry exhibition in Moscow

Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov presented promotion strategies, gastronomic tours, high-mountain medicine and other modern projects for the development of the industry in the region at the 31st international tourism and hospitality exhibition MITT-2025, held in Moscow. It brought together professionals to exchange experiences and conclude contracts.

The area of ​​over 17,500 sq. m accommodated exhibitors from the CIS countries to exotic destinations such as Kenya, Madagascar and Oman, which is participating for the first time.

Among more than 1,000 participants from 54 regions of Russia and 36 countries of the world, the Kabardino-Balkarian stand also attracted attention. The KBR pavilion introduced guests to ski resorts, sanatoriums, gastronomic tours and unique popular science routes.

Of particular interest were the projects in the field of medical tourism and high-altitude medicine developed by Kabardino-Balkarian State University. The university’s projects were presented by Anna Aloyeva, associate professor of the Institute of Management, Tourism and Hospitality Industry of KBSU.

The pavilion was not empty for a minute: master classes were replaced by performances by artists, and guests were actively interested in our programs,

— Aloyeva noted.

The business program of the exhibition included dozens of sessions where experts discussed trends, changes in legislation and strategies for attracting tourists. Anna Aloyeva emphasized that the experience gained will be integrated into the KBSU curricula:

Analysis of marketing cases and presentations of colleagues will form the basis for research work and student training.

Kabardino-Balkaria actively participated in sessions on health, environmental and auto tourism. The region offers health improvement based on mineral springs and therapeutic mud, eco-trails in national parks, auto tours through mountain gorges.

Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Islam Shavaev held talks with representatives of Belarus, communications companies and booking services. Joint projects were discussed, including the promotion of new routes.

The International Tourism and Hospitality Industry Exhibition MITT was held with the official support of government bodies and industry associations of the Russian Federation and foreign countries.
