«The Kabardino-Balkarian State University does a lot to update and strengthen the material and technical base, creating a comfortable environment for both teachers and students, said Aliy Musukov. – The Faculty of Medicine is one of the most important faculties of the university: the life and health of the population of the republic is in your hands, and this is not an exaggeration. Practically in all medical institutions of Kabardino-Balkaria graduates of the KBSU medical faculty work. The implementation of the national projects “Health” and “Demography” and the achievement of target indicators are largely determined by the way the health system of our republic will function, and its work depends on the faculty of the KBSU medical faculty, its graduates and students studying at this university».
Julia Semashko expressed her joy at the fact that her visit coincided with such a pleasant event. She wished medical students to reach new heights in order to glorify their home university and republic, to be useful to the country and in demand in the world market.
The rector of KBSU thanked the Government for support and reminded that the building of the medical faculty has historical value. Over the years, important events took place here.
«The university is actively developing. So, recently he has entered the number of thirteen higher educational institutions in which “boiling points” will open — the spaces of collective work of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. KBSU is one of a hundred universities, where breakthrough teams will be created to study at the Skolkovo intensive school», — noted Yuri Altudov.
The dean of the medical faculty, Ismail Miziev, thanked the guests for the warm words and wishes, and the teachers for the high level of their professionalism.
«The Faculty of Medicine today is a fairly large structural unit of the university, more than forty percent of KBSU students are trained in medical areas. If three or four years ago, the number of students we had was about a thousand, eight hundred people, today there are more than three and a half thousand. Quite a lot of students from foreign countries. Kabardino-Balkarian State University is in the register of educational institutions that are recommended for training in neighboring countries, India, Pakistan and others. The medical faculty actively cooperates with almost all medical institutions of the republic, joint work is underway to improve the skills», — Ismail Miziev explained.
Addressing students, he urged them not to forget that it is important to be useful above all to their native republic.
